The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization dedicated to preventing and alleviating human suffering, especially during times of emergency. Guided by its mission, “to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors,” we serve communities nationwide through the support of volunteers and donors.

The American Red Cross provides essential services to help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. We offer disaster relief, including shelter, food, and emotional support, collect and supply blood to patients in need, support military members and their families, and deliver health and safety training such as CPR and first aid. Through these efforts, we ensure individuals and families receive critical care and support during times of crisis.
