We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist elementary school students with their homework at one of our 12 LaAmistad Afterschool Program locations. Volunteers will work directly with staff teachers and parent liaisons to provide support in a fun and collaborative setting.
What You'll Do:
- Offer homework help to elementary school students (grades K-5)
- Work alongside a staff teacher and a parent liaison to provide guidance and encouragement
- No need for Spanish language skills or previous education experience—just a passion for helping others!
Time Commitment:
- Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Requirements:
- Because you will be working with children, background checks for volunteers 19 and over are required.
