Surveys show the primary reason students and their families don’t complete the FAFSA is that they believe it is too complicated, that they are not eligible for aid or that they don’t even know that financial aid exists.
That’s why United Way of Greater Atlanta and your high school have teamed up to help families complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Join us for food, fun, assistance with financial aid and more.
High School seniors and their parents or guardians are invited to attend a FAFSA completion event. Here are the details:

Location: Loudermilk Conference Center, 40 Courtland St NE, Atlanta, GA, 30303
Additional services that eligible families can access include:
- Free childcare services on-site (pre-registration required)
What You Need to Bring:
- FSA IDs (your electronic signature)
- 2018 Tax Returns and W-2s
- Social Security or Alien Registration Numbers
- Driver’s License (if any)
- Records of assets (bank statements, investments_
- Records of untaxed income (ex. Child support)
- List of school(s) you are interested in attending
- Parent’s marriage or divorce date
