Usher-Collier Elementary School is a Title 1 Atlanta Public School. Volunteers will prepare soil, plant vegetables, and mulch around empty garden bags in the school community garden that students can learn about, help maintain, and benefit from with fresh grown vegetables for cooking for their families. Volunteers will also help organize and pack up old textbooks to be picked up by the county to increase storage capacity.
Join us afterwards as we celebrate the impact of our LINC & YPL groups’ SaturDay of Service at Fowling Warehouse, Atlanta’s premier sensational destination! We’ll share laughs, stories of triumph and great food while throwing footballs at bowling pins! It’s the perfect atmosphere to “let your hair down” after a morning of great service.
