Home of Hope, Gwinnett Children's Shelter, has a mission to strengthen children, youth and families in crisis by providing a broad array of counseling and support services in a safe and nurturing environment. For children experiencing homelessness, and their young moms, they are the next step toward independence.
Volunteers are needed to help keep the shelter welcoming, safe, and comfortable to ensure children and moms are in an environment fostering hope and dignity. Projects include cleaning agency vans, pressure washing the playground, playroom and house cleaning, checking toys, painting, planting shrubs, and cutting back tree limbs.
