Women United is hosting the United Way of Greater Atlanta's Poverty Simulation on Friday, February 21, 2020. Join us for this impactful session to gain insight into our community.
The simulation allows participants to experience a month in the life of families facing real-life challenges associated with poverty. Participants must navigate through (un)employment, EBT, family crisis, illegal activities… the unexpected and the real deal! The experience illuminates the issues that pervade the work done by United Way, and provides a great background for your working knowledge as a champion of this work.
