At the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia, everything we do centers around one purpose – improving our world through the power of philanthropy. As a central point of contact for organizations in Gwinnett County, GwinnettCares was established.
At this time, masks are in HIGH demand across our medical and non-profit communities. Volunteers are needed to help provide reusable, cloth masks for those serving on our front lines to care for people in our community impacted by COVID-19. Masks will be shared with healthcare workers, first responders, nonprofit staff and volunteers serving those in crisis, vulnerable populations, and others in critical need.
Register today to commit to making at least four medical masks for GwinnettCares!
Step #1 - Gather Materials & Create Your Mask!
Any and all mask patterns are accepted. Colors and fabric patterns do not matter - you can even use those scraps of fabric lying around the house or pick out some designs that make you smile! Tightly woven, breathable cotton fabric or blend is preferred. For different mask making instructions, see helpful guides below.
