Open Hand's mission is to help people prevent or better manage chronic disease through Comprehensive Nutrition Care SM, which combines home-delivered meals and nutrition education as a means to reinforce the connection between informed food choices and improved quality of life.
Volunteers are needed on Sept. 24th to help their agency with client meal packing. Packing involves portioning food into individual containers and snack bags on our packing assembly line. With over 5,000 meals to package every day, your help is essential. Volunteers are expected to stay for the entirety of their scheduled shift.
