The mission of MOWA is to support senior independence through meals, shelter, education and community. Volunteers are needed to help stock their food pantry with donated items, pack breakfast bags, pack pantry bags or shelf stable meal boxes, and prep their pet pantry.
All volunteers must sign-up for a background check provided by Meals on Wheels Atlanta. The link to register for a background check will be sent in your confirmation email after registering.

To ensure the safety of volunteers, staff and clients, all participants will be required to wear a mask throughout the project, as well as undergo any entrance requirements of our partner (for example, temperature check). Please do not attend if you have been sick, or exposed to anyone who has been sick, within 2 weeks of the project date.
