United Way of Greater Atlanta is committed to ensuring no students are left behind by virtual learning - and this need is especially strong at DeKalb Elementary School of the Arts . Storytime is a daily highlight for the Kindergarteners - especially when they have guest readers!

Time: 8:30AM - 10:00AM
Volunteers will receive a copy of the book in advance, as a PDF - so you can practice all your fun voices and even dig up some props from around your house! We'll meet on the Zoom a little early to get set up and answer any questions before the kids arrive. Following the reading, United Way will instruct the kids & volunteers on some short comprehension activities to complete together.
Each child in the Kindergarten grade at Dekalb Elementary will receive a copy of the book to keep.
