The mission of Urban Recipe is to partner with our members and supporters in creating food security, building community, and providing a platform for personal development while affirming dignity.
This volunteer opportunity focuses on providing emergency food relief for individuals struggling with food security during the COVID pandemic. Volunteers will help organize food, fill boxes with a balanced variety of food options, package boxes securely for distribution, and otherwise assist our organization in feeding families in a health-conscious and sanitary manner. This project is suitable for those ages 16 and older, or 10 -15 years old with an adult.

To ensure the safety of volunteers, staff and clients, all participants will be required to wear a mask throughout the project, as well as undergo any entrance requirements of our partner (for example, temperature check). Please do not attend if you have been sick, or exposed to anyone who has been sick, within 2 weeks of the project date.
