At Metro Atlanta Urban Farm, they believe everyone should have access to affordable fresh produce that is grown free of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Their mission is to reduce barriers to healthy living in urban communities by encouraging, promoting, and supporting health education and sustainable, high-quality, low-cost agricultural production through gardening and farm training. Volunteers are invited to visit their community and experience urban farming at their 5-acre facility located in College Park, GA! Volunteer activities may include a variety of harvesting, planting, weeding, etc.
Please bring a mask, water, and gloves if needed. Wear clothes that can get dirty - you'll be working outside on the farm!
