Volunteer at the Community Food Center in Stone Mountain! The Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Community Food Center is a direct distribution food pantry to help us meet the need in food insecure areas. Volunteers will help us package and distribute food to the Stone Mountain community.
This shift will consist of packaging boxes of non-perishables or bags of produce and other food items for distribution at a later date. Other tasks may include unloading food donations from trucks and vans and unpacking those items, daily cleaning, and working in the fridge and freezer to restock those items. Volunteers must also register through ACFB's site HERE. Youth (12-17) are allowed to volunteer if they are accompanied by an adult.
