The Hygiene Kit project is a great way to provide necessities to our partners who have expressed an urgent need. Each kit provides soap, lotion, a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, a washcloth, deodorant, hand sanitizer, hand sanitizing wipes, and a handwritten inspirational note.
Volunteers will package 150 hygiene kits for I Am Human clients. Founded by a trans man of color, I Am Human was created to empower the lives of LGBTQIA individuals. Their goal is to create a safe space for individuals who are homeless, individuals living with HIV, and trans youth, with a focus on those who experience discrimination due to their lifestyle or gender identity. They aim to break the barriers with regard to the societal disparities in education, employment, healthcare, and housing.
Join us afterwards as we celebrate the impact of our LINC & YPL groups’ SaturDay of Service at Fowling Warehouse, Atlanta’s premier sensational destination! We’ll share laughs, stories of triumph and great food while throwing footballs at bowling pins! It’s the perfect atmosphere to “let your hair down” after a morning of great service.
