Volunteers will host a day of literacy with EasterSeals by participating in United Way's signature Book Tasting event for their Early Headstart, Headstart and Pre-k youth. This is an opportunity for volunteers to support youth with educational resources, drive the love for literacy and build strong learners for life. Students will explore multiple genres of age-appropriate books read to them by volunteers and rotate between genres. The books will then be donated to the school following the event for distribution, as well as 100 snack packs decorated and assembled by select volunteers.
United Way will provide all supplies needed for this event.
