Who We Are
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
In partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), United Way of Greater Atlanta (UWGA) provides free tax preparation to low and moderate income (up to $60,000) households in UWGA's 13 counties. Through this initiative, taxpayers can maximize their refunds and potential for economic mobility. Several sites even enhance this mobility with additional, free financial services.

VITA relies on volunteers like you. When you volunteer to become a certified tax preparer with VITA, you’re doing more than securing refunds — you’re uplifting your community.
